Landfill

Construction & Demolition (C&D) Landfill

Opened in 1997, citizens can dispose of all non-hazardous construction and demolition debris and yard clippings at the C&D Landfill located at 164 Essie Mae Walker Road.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. (must be in the gate by 4:00 p.m.) and Saturday from 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (must be in the gate by 4:30 p.m.).

Compactor Sites

Throughout Coweta County, there are  several compactor sites where citizens can drop off trash and recycles.

Pay As You Throw

Pay-As-You-Throw Program

Citizens can purchase two garbage bag sizes (16 gallon yellow bags & 32 gallon white bags) at various locations throughout the County.

Bags can be dropped off at any of our Compactor Sites.

Recycling

Recyclables are accepted free of charge at all Coweta County compactor sites. Proof of residency is required (either a driver's license or car tag).

Transfer Station

Transfer Station

For larger items that will not fit into the Pay-As-You-Throw garbage bags, citizens can bring them to the Transfer Station located at 164 Essie Mae Walker Road.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. (must be in the gate by 4 p.m.) and Saturday from 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (must be in the gate by 4:30 p.m.). It will be open weekdays from 6:00 - 9:00 a.m. for private haulers.
