The Coweta County Board of Commissioners is committed to compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related regulations and directives. Coweta County assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin, as provided by the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity. 

Coweta County further assures every effort will be made to ensure nondiscrimination in all of its programs and activities, whether or not those programs and activities are federally funded. In addition, Coweta County will take reasonable steps to provide meaningful access to services for persons with Limited English Proficiency (LEP). This includes but is not limited to, providing resources, including bilingual staff, interpreters, and translated materials to ensure that information and services will made available in the languages readily understood by all LEP persons.
