Bring your DFACS Summary Statement, and your eligibility for the exemption will be determined.
If you qualify, you can buy a limited number of bags at the exemption price. Senior citizens who qualify for a reduction in their gas, phone, or electric bills can also purchase bags at the exemption price of $.10 each.
To get the bags at this price, senior citizens should bring a utility bill showing that they qualify for the reduction.
Residents eligible for this exemption will be limited in the number of bags they can receive at the exemption price based on the number of people in the household.
Only cash (no debit cards) is accepted, and bills larger than $20.00 are not accepted.
