The Newnan Carnegie Library hosts a community wellness class for prevention and management of chronic disease conditions. The class features a circuit cardio, alternating safe and easy to follow low-impact aerobics with strength conditioning. Elastic tubing with handles is used for resistance training and core strengthening. The Exercise is Medicine (EIM) program includes "move and learn" activity designed to offer those of all ages with chronic disease the cardio-strength-flexibility and balance training needed to safely improve chronic health condition symptoms. Certified instructors from Piedmont Newnan Wellness Center provides 45 minutes of gentle therapeutic exercises. All equipment provided. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
