Is your U. S. flag old, faded, and worn out?   If so, several Newnan organizations (DAR, SAR, VFW, Scouts) will be hosting a flag retirement ceremony on Sunday, June 13th at the Coweta Veterans Club.  The Mayor will read a proclamation and there will be a patriotic program.  The public is invited.  Flags can also be dropped off at 10 College Street, Newnan.  For more information, call Pat McBurnett at 404-402-7010.
