Santa will arrive at First Avenue Park and will be positioned in the historic fire truck for a photo opportunity. (Photos with Santa are FREE BUT appointments are REQUIRED to participate.) The link to reserve your appointment is on the Main Street of Newnan website (www.mainstreetnewnan.com). Space is VERY limited! There will also be a letter writing station, music, and refreshments available for purchase. The City of Newnan's Leisure Services Department is bringing extra Christmas cheer and fun to this event! The department has planned a special visit by Santa's LIVE REINDEER! In conjunction with Main Street's Santa in the Park, Leisure Services is hosting Snow Tubing in the Park. There will be a snow tubing slide with real snow tubes! SnowKings of Atlanta will produce the snow. The snowmaking is similar to that utilized at ski resorts to supplement natural snow. Snow will be blown on the slide and tubing run. (Appointments for Snow Tubing are also REQUIRED!) Once Santa is finished with his photo appointments, he will ride to the square and light the Christmas tree located on North Court Square.
