The Coweta Master Gardener Extension Volunteers are going virtual with the November 10 meeting showcasing "The Birds in Your Back Yard," a presentation by noted Georgia birder, Dr. Robert Myers, professor emeritus, at the University of West Georgia. The Backyard Association is an educational program sponsored by the Master Gardener Extension Volunteeers at the UGA Extension--Coweta County. Dr. Myers taught geography for 26 years at the University of West Georgia and has traveled to all 50 states plus 14 countries in search of rare and exotic birds. He is also an active participant in Cornell University's eBIRD program, one of the world's largest biodiversity-related science projects. His talk will focus on the birds that can be found in our own backyards. The Backyard Association is an educational program sponsored by the Coweta County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers.
