Drug Take Back Day, sponosored locally by the Drug Free Coweta Coalition; the U. S. Drug Enforcement Agency; the Coweta County Sheriff's Office; and the Newnan Police Department will be held on Sunday, October 24th. Droffoff points are Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 2956 Sharpsburg-McCollum Road, Newnan, at Thomas Crossroads and the Newnan Utilities Wahoo Creek Administration Building; 315 Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard, Newnan. Anyone can drop off medications of any kind from pain pills to vitamins--through liquids are not accepted. The items can be disposed of, no questions asked. Those who cannot make it to Take Back Day can use secure drop boxes outside the the Coweta County Sheriff's Office; the Newnan Police Department; and the Newnan Police Department headquarters.
